In exploring the possibilities of different linear structures, I have focused on the human spine—an intriguing bone that can bend and rotate while maintaining a certain level of rigidity, much like a snake within the human body.


Rendering Effect
The structure can be placed on a flat surface to perform a snake-like motion.


Structural Experiment Process
After attempting many fixed connection structures, I found that the overall flexibility, similar to that of the spine, was lost.
At this point, I turned my attention to the mechanical spherical structure.
Structure Determination Process
Fusion of Mechanical Spherical Structure and Ceramics: Considering the hardness and non-ductile nature of the material, the upper part of the spherical structure is designed to be open. After connection, this ensures that the linear structure can achieve a certain degree of rotation in three other directions.
